I offer individual sessions in London and Cambridge for KMI Structural Integration and Pilates or both.
KMI Structural Integration consists of a multi-session protocol of deep, slow myofascial work, coupled with movement re-education.
Typically, the KMI process will begin with an interview about your
history and current habits. I will usually want to observe you standing
and walking before the sessions start, in order to assess your current
structural patterns. If you want I take photos in order to give you a
visual sense of the ‘before’ and ‘after’, since there can be some fairly
dramatic changes in your shape. Most of the work is completed on a
treatment table, however some floor, seated or standing work may be
called for. KMI sessions are done in underwear or a bathing suit,
without draping.
You can certainly ‘try out’ a session to see if it suits you, but the best, most permanent and progressive results are obtained by undertaking the whole 12-series, working through all the Anatomy Train lines. Alternatively, you can sign up for a 3-session series working through the lower-body, upper-body then unifying the work through the spine.
Each session lasts 75 minutes and can include a discussion about what specific exercises can be done between sessions to reinforce the work. Please contact me for details.

A Pilates session includes an assessment of posture and current movement abilities. We can work to refine technique or work on specific movements supporting your sport or daily activities. We will work on tailored exercises and if required design a home program. A session lasts 1 hour.
There are occasions where I need you to have an individual session instead of or before joining a class:
- If you are pregnant between weeks 8 and 14 and have not done Pilates before. It will be at my discretion to let you can join a class after week 16 or if you have done Pilates before.
- If you cannot lie down on a mat on the floor.
- If you suffer from a condition that will not allow you to join a class. Often people can join a class after just one or two 1-to-1 sessions. It is a decision we will make together.
If you are unsure please contact me to discuss.
